Health and Safety is a prime concern for M&R Facilities Management Ltd, as it should be for any company. We operate a full Health & Safety Management System which, although not currently developed around the ISO18001 standard, provides comprehensive and complete guidelines for the management of Health & Safety through-out our organisation.

We develop and operate internal training courses, tutorials and single-point lessons to ensure that our employees fully understand the Health & Safety implications of their work and know about their obligations. Additionally, we arrange ECITB CCNSG Training for our engineers, supervision and management, who carry certified ‘Safety Passports’

News Story: Thank you, Airbus!

On the 17th of January 2006, the company was awarded the prestigious Derek Hodkinson Gold Award for Contractor Safety at the Airbus UK manufacturing site in Broughton and was presented with this crystal trophy and a certificate by the Airbus management team.

Airbus take Health and Safety on site extremely seriously and demonstrate this in their continual monitoring systems and their award of contracts not only on cost basis but with demonstrable safety cultures as a key driver in contractor selection.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Airbus for recognising our dedication to Health & Safety and congratulate M & R's site team for their performance. Like Airbus, M & R Facilities Management Ltd are committed to a 'safety first' culture - protecting our most valuable assets, our people, and those of our customers and the public.
